FAQS
However on shared plans we do not specify a minimum download speed because it purely depends on what everyone else on the shared system is doing. For this reason, we call them“best-effort” plans because we cannot give you any guarantee regarding connectivity speed and uptime.
But Wait: Our customers receive 99% of advertised speeds at 95% of time on shared internet too.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”My current ISP state speeds “up to“ 3 Mbps How is KBL different” style=”round_outline”]
“Up to” means this is the fastest speed you could possibly get. Many consumers on other networks find they rarely, if ever, see their “up to” speed. When you pay for 10 Mbps with KBL, that is the speed you can expect to get consistently, guaranteed. We also offer symmetric speeds e.g with 3Mbps connection you will get 3Mbps Down+ 3Mbps Up at same time you can utilize both. Extra Buffer bandwidth is available for customers who need more bandwidth like 10,20Mbps (available in off peak hours only). You can request us for buffer here.
[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How can i avail extra speed on my existing package plan?” style=”round_outline”]KBL do offer extra speeds with no charges once in a month called buffer bandwidth, to use this service you have to fill out form and service will be given to you ASAP.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How can I check my Connection Speed?” style=”round_outline”]For testing your connection speed please make sure

2- You’re performing unloaded speedtest (means no other device is communicating at given time) or simply change your WiFi password.
Click this link for SpeedTest, this will give you nearly accurate figures.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Does KBL offer Unlimited Data on shared Plans, what is FUP?” style=”round_outline”]KBL do offer unlimited data on shared plans but we do degrade services if someone breaches their fair usage policy (Described as if customer had transferd more data then stated in fup like 410GB at given month) .
We follow this policy so everyone can get consistent quality and speeds.
FUP’s are 200GB, 300GB, 400GB.
More Explanation on FUP:
Fair Usage Policy (FUP) is upper limit applied on services like voice, SMS and data to ensure that the network resources are used fairly and efficiently among all users. FUP is typically applied to unlimited mins or data plans to prevent abuse or excessive usage that may negatively impact the network quality for other users.

We Follow Calender Month prepaid billing. All accounts will be expired on 3rd,4th of calender month(Sundays exemption). Speed on expiration will be degraded to 256K, on non-payment of customer till 11th of month account will be fully suspended.
Customer will pay advance for blling month. Charging Cycle is divided into 2 half’s so if customer pays his amount on 14th of month then expiration will be on 2th of next month and billed for whole month.
